Yellow Card, a global financial infrastructure provider supporting more than 50 currencies, has been named the winner of the 2026 Fintech ADVANCE Award for Digital Assets by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), in recognition of its contribution to the evolution of digital financial services.
The award was presented during Fintech South 2026 in Atlanta on August 18, where Yellow Card Chief Marketing Officer John Colson accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The Fintech ADVANCE Awards recognize companies developing technologies and solutions that are reshaping financial services and the way money moves globally. Other 2026 winners included Vertice AI in the Artificial Intelligence category, VIVA Finance in Credit and Rainforest in Payments.
For Yellow Card, the recognition marks a significant milestone in its growth from an early-stage startup into a financial infrastructure provider serving global businesses and financial institutions.
“In 2018, we came to Fintech South for the first time as a startup, and they gave us a booth. Accepting this award all these years later is a full-circle moment,” Colson said.
He said the recognition also reflects the growing importance of stablecoins in global payments and financial operations.
“Stablecoins are no longer a debatable alternative for payments. They are a critical tool for global businesses that need to move money and stay competitive,” he said.
The award comes as Yellow Card continues to expand its global operations and financial infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company was named to the inaugural Fortune Crypto Innovators list, highlighting companies contributing to developments in the digital asset sector.
Yellow Card also announced a $40 million strategic fundraise, bringing its total equity financing to more than $120 million. The funding is being used to scale its Global USD Accounts product, which provides businesses with an end-to-end dollar account, while expanding the stablecoin payment infrastructure connecting businesses to markets around the world.
The company has positioned its infrastructure to serve banks, fintech companies and multinational businesses seeking to manage treasury operations, access US dollars and facilitate cross-border payments.
Its customer base includes global companies such as Visa and Western Union, underscoring its focus on building infrastructure that meets the reliability, compliance and interoperability requirements of established financial institutions.
The growing adoption of stablecoins has also created new opportunities for businesses operating across markets where traditional cross-border payment systems can be costly, slow or difficult to access. Yellow Card’s infrastructure is designed to provide businesses with alternative rails for moving value across borders while connecting local and international financial ecosystems.
The TAG award therefore comes at a time when digital assets are increasingly becoming part of mainstream financial infrastructure rather than operating solely as an emerging investment category.
For Yellow Card, the recognition also reinforces its stated focus on developing financial infrastructure that enables businesses to connect with international markets.
The company said it remains focused on expanding the infrastructure required to help businesses access global financial markets, manage liquidity and move money across borders.
