Yellow Card has introduced Global Accounts, a new service designed to help businesses operating across borders hold and transfer funds in major international currencies without managing separate banking arrangements in each market.
The offering enables businesses to open accounts in their own names in US dollars, British pounds and euros through Yellow Card’s established banking partners. Payments can be made and received through ACH, SWIFT and Fedwire, alongside local payment networks supporting more than 50 currencies across over 190 countries.
The service is accessible through a single application programming interface or the company’s Treasury Portal, giving businesses a central platform for managing international financial operations.
Yellow Card said the accounts are intended to simplify access to banking infrastructure for companies expanding into new markets, where establishing local banking relationships can complicate payments and treasury management.
Platforms that require additional regulatory coverage can also use managed bank account structures to issue named accounts to their end customers.
“Businesses shouldn’t need a new banking relationship every time they enter a new market,” said Chris Maurice, chief executive officer and co-founder of Yellow Card.
Maurice said the platform would enable companies to manage funds across different markets without having to reconstruct their financial operations for each country.
The launch adds to Yellow Card’s payments infrastructure, which has processed more than $10 billion in volume. The company currently operates under nine active licences and registrations globally.
Yellow Card is inviting interested businesses to book consultations to explore the service.
