Technology company ASUS has announced its participation in the inaugural edition of GITEX Kenya, set to take place in Nairobi from May 19 to 21, 2026, where it will unveil its latest portfolio of AI-powered commercial computers aimed at accelerating digital transformation across the region.
Under the theme “In Search of Incredible,” ASUS will use the platform to showcase its range of AI PCs designed to support Kenya’s growing digital economy ambitions and the broader African market.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tolga Özdil, Regional Commercial Director for Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) at ASUS, described Kenya as a strategic market in the company’s long-term commercial vision for Africa.
“We’re excited to be a part of the inaugural edition of GITEX Kenya. The country plays an important role in ASUS’s commercial long-term vision for the African market,” said Tolga Özdil.
He noted that the region is experiencing rapid transformation driven by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and sustainability-focused solutions, adding that the exhibition provides ASUS with an opportunity to present its latest innovations to enterprise, SME and government customers.
Özdil said ASUS devices are designed with integrated AI support at the hardware level, enabling professionals to use AI-powered tools even without internet connectivity. He added that the company’s products also offer enterprise-grade security suitable for organizations where data protection remains a key priority.
At the exhibition, ASUS will display its latest commercial devices, including the ExpertBook series and workstation PCs. Among the highlights is the newly launched ExpertBook Ultra (B9406), the company’s flagship lightweight laptop that weighs less than one kilogram and measures only 10.9mm thin.
The device is equipped with up to 50 TOPS NPU capability, allowing users to run advanced AI tasks directly on the device without compromising performance or battery life. ASUS says the laptop also combines durability with enhanced enterprise security features tailored for modern professionals.
Other devices expected to be showcased include the ExpertBook B5405, P5405, P440 All-in-One PC and the P500 ExpertCentre Mini Tower.
The company will also demonstrate AI-driven productivity solutions such as AI ExpertMeet, an AI-powered collaboration tool designed to simplify meetings through real-time transcription and automated summaries.
ASUS said its participation aligns with national initiatives such as the Kenya AI Strategy 2025-2030, which seeks to position the country as a regional hub for AI research and innovation.
According to the company, its commercial portfolio has been developed around key digital transformation priorities including AI-first design, cloud-ready infrastructure and sustainability.
Visitors attending GITEX Kenya will be able to experience ASUS’s latest technologies at Hall 2, Stand B45 during the three-day exhibition in Nairobi.
